About Us

Mission Link Africa aims to meet the theological needs of preachers and missionaries in Africa by linking them to Christ-centered theological and administrative resources in service to Jesus Christ our saviour.

The Link

MissionLink.png

Mission Link Africa aims to be the link or bridge between sound Christian theology to unsound Christian theology in Africa. Preachers and missionaries in Africa continue to witness a dearth of sound reformed biblical teaching. We aim to communicate with print and digital resource donors on opportunities to support preachers and missionaries in Africa through our Book Fund.

We seek to link preachers and missionaries in Africa to these Christ-centered theological resources for free, especially in hard-to-reach areas on the African content. We aim to educate missionaries on how to handle administrative and communications components of their ministries by creating a knowledge sharing platform with more experienced missionaries and by organizing trainings.

Partnership

Mission Link Africa aims to work closely with African theological seminaries. The aim is to provide Missiology and Theology graduates and postgraduates from these seminaries free Christian theological resources to launch them into Christ-centered and reformed doctrine. We currently have a partnership with the one of the largest seminaries in West Africa. The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary (https://nbts.edu.ng/) and are looking to create more partnerships.

MLA seeks to create partnerships with Reformed Christian authors, publishers and preachers who can offer Christian resources (this includes books, sermon notes, audio, video sermon recordings) for free or at discounted rates to pastors and missionaries in Africa. Kindly reach out to us info@missionlinkafrica.org or fill our contact form if you would like to support or partner with us.

Prayer

Mission Link Africa seeks to organise a global prayer chain of thanksgiving and supplication for pastoral and mission work across Africa especially for reformed and sound biblical preaching in churches on the continent.

Mission Link’s Book Fund aims to bridge the knowledge gap in the preaching and interpretation of scripture that preachers in Africa face. The Book Fund provides print resources to support preachers and missionaries in Africa. We seek to link preachers and missionaries in Africa to these Christ-centered theological resources for free, especially in hard-to-reach areas on the African content.

Called to Preach.jpg

Steven J. Lawson

Called to preach

The church stands in dire need of those God has called to preach the word with precision and power. Preachers who will not replace sound theology with culturally palatable soundbites. Preachers who will clearly and faithfully share the gospel and inspire those in their churches to live godly lives.

Richard D Phillips

Jesus the Evangelist

Rev. Richard D. Phillips digs into the early chapters of the Gospel of John to discover principles you can use for Christian outreach that were modeled by witnesses for Jesus and by Jesus Himself. Phillips unfolds biblical principles for evangelism by examining the ministry of John the Baptist and the calling of the first of Jesus' disciples. Then, through a brief study of the Lord's encounter with the Pharisee Nicodemus, he presents us with a theology of the gospel. Finally, he focuses in on Jesus' stirring encounter with the Samaritan woman to show exactly how Christ shared the good news.

What is biblical theology

The Bible recounts a single story―one that began at creation, encompasses our lives today, and will continue till Christ’s return and beyond. In What Is Biblical Theology?, Jim Hamilton introduces us to this narrative, helping us understand the worldview of the biblical writers so that we can read the Old and New Testaments as those authors intended.

Feed My Sheep: A Passionate Plea for Preaching

Jesus told Peter, "Feed my sheep" (John 21:17). Such is the mission for all Christ's shepherds. But when preaching is neglected, those who have been called to feed the sheep do little more than pet them.

In this book, eleven pastors and scholars issue a fervent plea for preachers to "preach the Word." Here is encouragement for pastors to persevere in their calling and wisdom to guide congregations in holding their shepherds to the biblical standards.

what fuels the mission of the church.jpg

Daniel Hames & Michael Reeves

What fuels the mission of the church

Many Christians know they should be passionate about evangelism, but in reality they often find it daunting. In this concise version of God Shines Forth, Daniel Hames and Michael Reeves urge Christians to grow in their knowledge and enjoyment of God-as they know God more, they will be spurred on to authentic service through missions and evangelism.
